Treatment Options

How can equine massage therapy help my horse?

Massage is recommended 48 hours before or after an event, after intense workouts, or once per week on a rest day.

Massage is recommended once per month, after intense workouts, and whenever they are acting tense or agitated.

Massage is recommended once per week during recovery or as otherwise instructed by your veterinarian.

What should I do to prepare for the visit?

The horse
Please make sure your horse is groomed and ready for the session. Do not apply any fly spray or grooming products.
The space
Working outside is fine (weather permitting), but a barn is also suitable. Your horse should have room to move around and feel comfortable.
The session
Each session begins with learning the problems your horse has been having as well as their health history. Sessions last between 60-90 minutes.

This includes the first time exam and treatment. Each session will last between 60-90 minutes.
